Do you qualify for an NHS sight test?
You will be eligible for an NHS sight test if you:
- are under 16 years old (18 years old if in full time education)
- are over 60 years old
- are aged 40 or over with a direct family history (in a sibling, parent or child) of glaucoma
- are considered at risk of glaucoma by an ophthalmologist
- have glaucoma or diabetes
- receive income support, jobseekers allowance, employment support allowance , tax credits, pension credit guarantee, or are named on a valid HC2 certificate
- are registered as sight impaired or severely sight impaired or have a prescription of over +/- 10.00 dioptres
